Cultural Diversity

Author - Daniel Scaramuzza

Hey everyone! Welcome back to another post on The Uni Lifestyle. For today's post, we'll be discussing Cultural Diversity and what it brings to Macquarie Uni.

The various cultures in Australia effect our uni in so many different ways, such as the food, the people you meet, and the societies, but the list goes on.

13 Best Indian Recipes | Popular Indian RecipesMQ Uni's food court holds such a wide variety of food to pick from when you get hungry. You could grab Japanese in the form of sushi, or an Italian pizza from the Ubar. They even have a row of stalls selling Chinese food, Lebanese snack packs and kebabs, or Indian curries.

As a part of the Uni lifestyle, you're expected to meet lots of different students here at Macquarie, as many people come overseas to Australia to study different courses provided by universities such as Macquarie. Due to this, the cultural diversity of people you can meet is amazing. This also impacts the societies created here at MQ, for example, Korean students would be major fans of Kpop artists, so they make Kpop societies so that everyone interested at the Uni could join and make friends who share interests, for not only Korean students, but people of all cutlures. If your interested in hearing more about societies at MQ, check out our seperate blog post we made all about it!

That's it for today, head over to our twitter to stay updated every time we post another blog, otherwise, have a good week!
